The Lion Safari ME replaces traditional noisy gas generators with the safest Lithium batteries on the market today.  It is lightweight for the amount of power it has.  A Lithium battery typically deliver more charging cycles in their lifetime than lead-acid batteries.  This makes the Safari the best choice for heavy duty solar power applications.  Another important benefit of this unit is its high charge and discharge efficiencies which helps it harvest more energy during solar applications.

The lifespan of the Safari ME Solar Unit is determined by the life cycle rating of the battery that powers it.  Every time a battery is completely drained and fully recharged, one life cycle is added.  Lion Energy uses Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries which are the longest lasting Lithium batteries on the market. This means this generator is rated for 2500+ life cycles. That is 4 to 6 more than the average generator on the market. In an extremely high-use scenario, completely discharging and then fully recharging the generator once a day, it would last for 7 years.

 Question:  How to recharge the Safari ME?

1. Plug it into the solar panel.  It takes approximately 95 minutes to charge using the solar panel inoptimal conditions.  

2. Plug it into a 110 -Volt Wall Outlet.  It takes approximately 83 minutes to fully charge.  

If not used, the Safari ME will maintain its charge for one year.  However, we recommend using the Safari ME more frequently.  The Safari ME can be rechared approximatley 2,500+ times.

 Question:  Can the Safari ME power an A/C Unit?

The Safari ME can power some AC units depending upon the brand and the watts the AC unit requires.  The power consumpiton of AC units varies from brand to brand, model to model.  The Safari ME unit has a maxiumin out of 2,000 watts continuously.  If the AC unit requires less than 2,000 watts, the ME will power it.

The Lion Safari ME can power a wide range of household appliances. You can use all the outputs at the same time, but remember, you may not be able to use all of your appliances or power tools simultaneously.
