The Lion Safari ME with an Expansion Battery supplies you with 3 times the storage capacity of the ME alone. 

The 3 Panel will provide 300W of power from the sun.  The Expansion pack plugs into the back of the Safari ME.  Like the Safari ME, the Expansion Battery will retain its charge for 1 year.  The Safari Me and the Expansion battery gives you nearly 3,000 Watt hours of power. 

The Safari ME and Expansion Battery are safe and silent.  The Safari ME is great for everyday use around the house, the workshed or around the yard.  It's portable, it can be used on camping trips, tailgating, RV, outdoor parties, or around job sites.  

This ME Expansion Package Includes:

• Lion Safari ME Solar Generator with 2,000 Watts of continuous output and 922wh of stored energy.  It is pure sine wave so you can run medical devices.
• Lion Safari ME Expansion Battery which increases stored power 3 times.   
• Three 24 Volt 100 Watt folding Solar Panel that will provide 100W of charging from the sun.  The panel is a portable 100 W monocrystalline, high-quality, 20-year rated.
• 25' Solar Anderson Extention Cable which connections the panel to the geneerator.  You can place the solar panel in the sun and keep the Safari ME inside or in the shade.
• 3 Light LED Light String

The lifespan of the Safari ME Solar Unit is determined by the life cycle rating of the battery that powers it.  Every time a battery is completely drained and fully recharged, one life cycle is added.  Lion Energy uses Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries which are the longest lasting Lithium batteries on the market. This means this generator is rated for 2500+ life cycles. That is 4 to 6 more than the average generator on the market. In an extremely high-use scenario, completely discharging and then fully recharging the generator once a day, it would last for 7 years.

 Question:  How to recharge the Safari ME and Expansion battery?

1. Plug it into the 3 solar panel.  It takes approximately 1 1/2 hours to charge both units using the solar panel in optimal conditions.  

2. Plug it into a 110 -Volt Wall Outlet.  It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge both units.  

If not used, both Safari ME and the Expansion Battery will maintain their charge for one year.  However, we recommend using the units more frequently.  The Safari ME and the Expansion Battery can be rechared approximatley 2,500+ times.

For use with the Lion Safari ME Portable Solar Unit or other brand solar units that requires a 24 Volt, 100 Watt solar panel.  You can link up to 6 panel but please remember to only connect solar panels of the SAME voltage and model number.

Links the solar panel to the generator.  
This 25' Anderson cable allows you to keep your solar panels in the sun and your Safari LT Generator in the shade.
