Energy from Beets
During the afternoon hours, 2 pm to 4 pm, I was always feeling tired. Not matter how much I slept the night before, I was always tired in the afternoon. One day while reading about vegetables, I found that beets are very high in carbohydrates which means they are an instant energy source, beets energize your body. Beets fuel your body.
I purchased a canister of beet powder and I started mixing it with my lunch, I pour a scoop on my salad, mix it with a glass of water or add it to my soup. It worked. I started to feel more energized during the afternoon hours. Than it hit me, just add it to my morning Complete shake. Wow. I really feel better in the afternoons.
